WTRSGN

MY ROLE

UX designer designing a website and mobile app for e-commerce home goods store WTRSGN, from conception to delivery. Responsibilities include conducting interviews, paper and digital wire-framing, low and high-fidelity prototyping, conducting usability studies, accounting for accessibility and iterating on designs.

PROJECT GOAL

The project goal was to communicate WTRSGN's showroom and recreate the experience for web applications

TARGET AUDIENCE

Research for target audience include users who are high end home goods shoppers. Users are often also designers and trade professionals.

KEY CHALLENGES

Some key challenges include the integration of experiences that are unique to WTRSGN's showroom.

RESEARCH STUDY DETAILS

After multiple rounds of testing, adjustments were made to simplify the user experience.

In addition to paper wireframes initial design concepts include creating a flow chart to organize the user experience. 

WIREFRAMES

Lo-fidelity wireframes were made after many paper iterations, The design focused around a movable map as the primary user function and design.

USER TESTING RESULTS

Multiple rounds of testing were conducted, The results led to a redesign of the lo-fidelity prototypes.

MOCKUPS

After synthesizing the results of the usabilty study a round of high-fidelity prototypes were made.

NEXT STEPS

Next steps include additional rounds of testing, expanding user functions and the integration of VR / AR functions so users can see the items in their home before they purchase them.
